The Civil Protection Department of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region has issued a yellow-level weather alert for potential hydrogeological risks due to thunderstorms. The alert is in effect for 24 hours starting at midnight on Saturday, July 26.
According to the forecast, thunderstorms with locally heavy rainfall are expected during the night and into the early morning hours. Conditions may become more stable during the day, though additional thunderstorms—possibly intense—are anticipated again from the evening into the following night, particularly in the lowland and coastal areas.
Authorities are advising residents to remain informed and take appropriate precautions, especially in areas prone to flooding or other weather-related disruptions.
