In Opicina, the regular market event known as ‘A Well of Opportunities,’ organized by the Cultural Association Cose di Vecchie Case in collaboration with the Trieste Municipality, continues its series into the new year. This event features a curated selection of antiques, vintage items, artisanal crafts, and collectibles from various regions.

Taking place on the third Thursday of each month, beginning on March 21, the market unfolds along Via Nazionale, Strada per Vienna, and Via di Prosecco in Opicina. Co-organized with the Trieste Municipality and in partnership with the Consortium Centro in Via Insieme in Opicina, this month’s edition emphasizes antique goods and seasonal crafts.

Beyond its commercial aspect, the event aims to revitalize Opicina’s community and attract both tourists and locals to stimulate the local economy. With a diverse range of exhibitors, the market showcases wooden crafts, glassware, ceramics, and more.

Named after the historic Zinzendorf Stele, the market pays homage to Opicina’s heritage. Visitors can explore stalls and appreciate the shared history of the community.

Weather permitting, the next market will be held on April 18. The Cultural Association Cose di Vecchie Case, with over 350 members, collaborates with municipal partners across the region to promote cultural initiatives and community engagement.
