Job seekers in Friuli Venezia Giulia will have the opportunity to meet employers from 19 companies and 26 retail and service brands during the region’s annual Job Day, scheduled for October 14 at Città Fiera shopping center in Torreano di Martignacco.
Organized by the Friuli Venezia Giulia regional government in partnership with Città Fiera, the event aims to connect employers with candidates across a range of sectors, including retail, hospitality, food service, logistics, pharmacy and management.
A total of 90 positions will be available, with openings ranging from sales assistants, restaurant and kitchen staff, fast-food workers and pizzaioli to store managers, pharmacists, maintenance personnel and logistics professionals.
Participating brands include Leroy Merlin, Foot Locker, Mango, Desigual, Swarovski, Burger King, McDonald’s, Old Wild West, Rituals, Wiener Haus, Spazio Conad and Mega Intersport, among others.
Regional Labor Councilor Alessia Rosolen said the initiative reflects ongoing cooperation between public institutions and the business community to improve the match between employers and job seekers while strengthening employment services across the region.
The event will run from 9:30 a.m. at the Salone degli Eventi inside Città Fiera. Registration is required by October 12, and participants are encouraged to bring multiple copies of their résumé for interviews with prospective employers.
Throughout the day, staff from the region’s Employment Services will also be available to provide guidance on job opportunities and public programs supporting employment and career development.
