The Civic Museums of Trieste have unveiled their educational program for the 2026–27 school year, offering a broad range of history, art and science activities for students from preschool through secondary school.
Developed by the Municipality of Trieste in partnership with CoopCulture, which manages educational services across the city’s historical, artistic and scientific museums, the program is designed to complement classroom learning through guided visits, workshops and interactive experiences.
The catalog includes activities tailored to different age groups and learning styles, with a focus on accessibility. Educational materials in augmentative and alternative communication, tactile resources and sensory tools are available to support inclusive participation.
Some programs will also be offered in English and Slovene upon request, reflecting the multilingual character of the region’s school community. The educational catalog will be updated throughout the academic year with additional activities.
Participating institutions include the J.J. Winckelmann Museum of Antiquities, San Giusto Castle, the Diego de Henriquez War for Peace Museum, the Risiera di San Sabba National Monument, the Basovizza Foiba National Monument, the Carlo Schmidl Theatre Museum, the Revoltella Museum of Modern Art, the Museum of Oriental Art, the Sartorio Museum, the Museum of the Sea, the Natural History Museum and the Botanical Garden.
