Virgin Voyages’ Scarlet Lady made its inaugural visit to Trieste on Wednesday, bringing nearly 1,900 passengers to the northeastern Italian port.

The adults-only cruise ship, known for its inclusive atmosphere and popularity among LGBTQ+ travelers, spent the day in the city before continuing its Adriatic itinerary toward Croatia.

The visit marked another step in Trieste’s growing role as a Mediterranean cruise destination, with local businesses and tourism officials welcoming the influx of visitors exploring the city’s historic center and waterfront.
