A new series of Sunday sunset gatherings is set to begin at Cohiba, the beachside venue in Baia di Sistiana, near Trieste, offering visitors an opportunity to enjoy drinks, music and seaside views during the early evening hours.
Starting June 21, the venue will host weekly aperitif events every Sunday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Timed to coincide with the “golden hour,” the gatherings will feature DJ sets by The Smooth Operator alongside a menu of cocktails and light fare designed for a relaxed beachfront setting. Food and drinks will also be available directly at guests’ sun loungers on the beach.
The initiative marks a new chapter for Cohiba, a long-established fixture on the bay’s waterfront. According to Stefano Raso, who manages the venue, recent renovations have focused on creating a more refined atmosphere aimed at adults seeking a leisurely day by the sea.
In addition to the Sunday aperitif series, the venue plans to host a range of events throughout the summer, including live music performances, show-cooking demonstrations and wine tastings featuring producers from the Friuli Venezia Giulia region.
