Public transportation operator Trieste Trasporti has introduced its summer bus schedule on Sunday, June 7, 2026, bringing a series of seasonal adjustments to routes across the city and surrounding areas.

Among the changes, Line 7, which connects Muggia and Lazzaretto, will once again serve the on-request stop on Strada per Lazzaretto near the San Bartolomeo campground.

On Line 9, running between Piazzale Gioberti and Largo Irneri, buses departing from Piazzale Gioberti toward Campo Marzio between 7:30 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. will extend their route from Via Ottaviano Augusto to Riva Traiana, where an additional stop will be available near the Ausonia beach facility.

Line 19 will no longer continue to Barcola during the summer season. Instead, its northern terminus will be relocated to Largo Città di Santos. The supplementary Line 19/ will not operate.

Line 20, connecting Muggia and Barcola, will see selected services extended to Piazzale 11 Settembre. On weekdays, the extension will operate between 5:45 a.m. and 8:32 p.m., while on holidays it will run between 7:48 a.m. and 8:34 p.m. Buses will travel through the Porto Vivo/Porto Vecchio redevelopment area in both directions.

Line 36, linking Largo Tomizza and the Miramare junction, will operate daily throughout the summer period.

School bus routes 55, 56, 57 and 58 will be suspended under the summer timetable, except on June 8 and 9, when services will continue to operate as schools remain open.

Meanwhile, Line 70, which serves the route between Aurisina and Sistiana, will run daily along a revised route connecting Aurisina’s municipal center with the seaside area of Sistiana Mare.

The summer schedule will remain in effect through September 13, 2026.
