For the men and women of Italy’s Carabinieri, the annual foundation day is more than a ceremonial milestone—it is a public reaffirmation of service, duty, and trust. On Friday morning, regional president Massimiliano Fedriga joined regional councillors Pierpaolo Roberti and Fabio Scoccimarro at the Carabinieri barracks “Generale Carlo Petitti di Roreto” in Trieste for celebrations marking the 212th anniversary of the force’s founding. The ceremony honored the Carabinieri’s long-standing role in safeguarding communities and included recognition for officers distinguished in service during the past year. Local authorities, students, and civic representatives attended the event, underscoring the enduring bond between the institution and the people it serves.
