From Trieste’s waterfront cafés to the beaches of Grado and the mountain trails of the Carnic Alps, people poured into the sunshine, eager to savor a long-awaited taste of summer. Families strolled along the sea, cyclists filled the promenades, and crowded piazzas buzzed with conversation late into the evening.
