The Friuli Venezia Giulia region will host a job recruitment open day later this month aimed at connecting employers at the Tiare Shopping center in Villesse with prospective workers.
Scheduled for May 26 at the shopping complex near Gorizia, the event is part of a regional employment initiative designed to facilitate direct contact between companies and job seekers. Organized in collaboration with the Tiare Shopping center, the program will feature short, in-person interviews between candidates and participating businesses.
Several retailers and restaurants operating inside the mall are seeking staff, including sportswear chains, fashion brands, home furnishing companies and food-service operators. Positions available range from sales assistants and store managers to warehouse staff, restaurant employees, kitchen workers and pharmacists.
Among the companies taking part are Decathlon, Foot Locker, IKEA and Rossopomodoro, along with several Italian retail groups.
Participation is free, though advance registration is required by May 24. Candidates who register online will receive an appointment time for interviews, expected to take place between 9:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Organizers have encouraged attendees to bring multiple printed copies of their résumés to distribute directly to employers.
Regional employment service representatives will also be present to provide information about public programs and support services available to people seeking work.
The event will take place at Tiare Shopping, one of the largest retail centers in northeastern Italy.
