On Saturday, August 23, at 6 p.m., art historian and professor Paola Estori will lead a guided tour of the exhibition “Il segno nel tempo” at Sala Leonor Fini in Magazzino 26, located in Trieste’s Porto Vecchio district.

The exhibition, which remains open to the public free of charge through Sunday, August 24, brings together 77 works and a carefully curated selection of artists’ books. The pieces on display reflect the research and creativity of 42 artists who have been involved in recent years with the Scuola Libera dell’Acquaforte, part of the Università Popolare di Trieste.

Exploring printmaking as both a traditional craft and a contemporary medium, the show highlights engraving as a “living sign,” a layered memory, and a tool for artistic exploration. Visitors are invited to follow a visual journey that bridges technique, material, and memory, while underscoring the dialogue between past and present.

The exhibition is open Thursday and Friday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturdays, Sundays, and August 15 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
