The regional government of Friuli Venezia Giulia has opened applications for funding to support projects run by youth centers serving people between the ages of 14 and 35 who live, study, or work in the region.
The initiative, part of an agreement with Italy’s Department for Youth Policies and the National Civil Service, is aimed at public and non-profit organizations, including associations, parishes, and third-sector entities, that operate officially recognized youth centers.
“This call confirms the regional administration’s ongoing commitment to supporting associations, parishes, and local authorities that, through youth centers, foster social connections and highlight the contributions and talents of young people,” said Alessia Rosolen, regional councillor for labor, education, research, universities, and family.
Projects eligible for funding may address a range of topics, from active citizenship and legal awareness to culture, sports, environmental education, and workplace safety. Proposals that promote networking between youth centers and schools, social services, employment agencies, or regional programs such as Attivagiovani and Attivascuola will also be considered.
Applications will be accepted through Sept. 30, 2025. Grants will range from €5,000 to €10,000 for each specific area of intervention, with a maximum of €30,000 available for a single project.
Application forms can be downloaded from the Friuli Venezia Giulia regional website or the youth portal at www.giovanifvg.it. Submissions must be sent via certified email to lavoro@certregione.fvg.it.
