Italian rock legend Vasco Rossi is set to return to Friuli Venezia Giulia in 2026, with two back-to-back concerts at Udine’s Bluenergy Stadium on June 28 and 29, marking his first performance in the region in seven years.
The announcement was met with enthusiasm by regional officials, who highlighted the significance of the event not only from a cultural standpoint but also as a driver of local tourism and economic growth.
“Welcoming back a musical icon like Vasco Rossi confirms Friuli Venezia Giulia’s appeal as a prime destination for major national and international concerts,” said regional governor Massimiliano Fedriga. “These events are an important boost for tourism and a key factor in the region’s broader economic development.”
The Udine dates are part of Rossi’s broader 2026 live tour. Governor Fedriga also emphasized the region’s growing role on the concert circuit, noting other major events on the calendar, including performances in Lignano during the summer and the international music offerings tied to GO!2025, the cross-border cultural program involving Nova Gorica and Gorizia.
“With Vasco’s return to Udine for two nights, and Eros Ramazzotti also recently announced, our region is confirming its central role in Italy’s live music scene,” Fedriga added. “A heartfelt thanks goes to the organizers and local institutions whose teamwork made this opportunity possible.”
The concerts are expected to draw tens of thousands of fans and contribute to an already rich summer lineup in the northeast of Italy.
