The program opens on Friday, June 20, with a free concert at 6 p.m. in Piazza Attilio Hortis, marking the city’s participation in Italy’s annual Festa della Musica. Over the coming weeks, the series will bring classical and lyrical performances to each of the city’s seven districts.

The full lineup includes performances in:

  • Giardini di Via San Michele in Barriera Vecchia (June 25)
  • Giardino di Villa Cosulich in Roiano (June 27)

  • Giardino Basevi in San Vito (July 4)
  • Giardino di Via Orlandini in Altura (July 9)
  • Piazza XXV Aprile in Borgo San Sergio (July 11)

The initiative was officially presented on Thursday, June 19, during a press conference at City Hall. In attendance were Deputy Mayor and Theater Councillor Serena Tonel and Urban Policy Councillor Michele Babuder, along with Teatro Verdi’s General Manager Giuliano Polo and Artistic Director Paolo Rodda.

Teatro Verdi, a cornerstone of Trieste’s cultural heritage, will lead the performances, with ensembles drawn from its orchestra and chorus. The program is free and open to all residents and visitors.
