During this morning’s press conference at the region’s headquarters president of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region announced his imminent visit to the United States on Thursday.
“Our visit will be centered on making fruitful connections for our region with the American partners. We’ll have two main events- the National Italian American Foundation, where in 2024 Friuli Venezia Giulia will receive the status of the Region of Honor,” said Fedriga.
“After that, we will continue with two full work days at the Italian Embassy in Washington D.C.. One of the highlights of our visit will be meeting the first lady, Jill Biden, at the gala dinner organized by the INAF at the White House upon our arrival.”
