Just in time for our magazine’s one year anniversary on March 1st, we are excited to announce the literary competition “Stories from Trieste to the World” in collaboration with Comune di Trieste.

In Trieste’s magazine competition is part of the yearly Women’s Day celebrations organized by the Municipality of Trieste together with the prominent associations of our city.

Why “From Trieste to the World”?

The readers of our online mag comprise of Trieste and Italian folks, as well as people living elsewhere so your stories will be read by people around the world!

Who can take part?

All female writers living in Trieste, regardless of age, nationality or ethnicity are welcome to send their stories.

What’s the theme?

The theme for this literary competition is “The City of Trieste during Covid“. What was your experience living the pandemic in our city like?

How long should the story be?

Your stories should be 800 words max, in .doc format written in English language. Please, send your story to news@intrieste.com

Who will choose the winners?

Our readers! We will be posting every single story on our website starting from 8 March. Our readers will choose the three most appreciated stories and the three female authors will be invited to read their pieces in our online event on March 26th at 6 pm. The winner, announced during the online event, will have her story published in the April print issue of In Trieste magazine.
