Under the bright autumn sun at Molo Bersaglieri, APT Gorizia gathered journalists and local officials on Friday to reflect on a successful 2025 season for its maritime links connecting Trieste, Grado, Lignano, and Aquileia.
The ferry services, which have become a symbol of sustainable coastal tourism, saw strong passenger numbers and positive feedback throughout the summer. The initiative, promoted by APT Gorizia, continues to strengthen connections across Friuli Venezia Giulia’s most beloved seaside destinations while reducing road traffic and offering travelers a scenic alternative along the Adriatic.
“We’re proud of how this season unfolded,” said Caterina Belletti, president of APT Gorizia. “The growing popularity of these maritime routes shows that visitors and residents alike value greener, more relaxed ways of moving between our coastal towns.”
As discussions turn toward 2026, APT aims to expand the network and improve service frequency, further positioning the northern Adriatic as a model for integrated, eco-friendly transport and tourism.
