The Italian government on Monday inaugurated a new Casa del Made in Italy in Trieste, a public service hub intended to streamline support for businesses and promote Italian industry.
The center, located in the historic Palazzo delle Poste on Piazza Vittorio Veneto, is part of a national initiative led by the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy. Officials say the hub will serve as a point of access for companies and citizens seeking clearer, faster communication with public administration, as well as resources for business development.
“The opening of the Casa del Made in Italy in Trieste will guarantee better services and clearer, faster responses to those who want to do business in our territory,” said Massimiliano Fedriga, president of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region, during the inauguration. “For companies, it is fundamental to find reliable counterparts capable of providing all the support and information necessary to develop their activities.”
Fedriga noted that the region has already launched agencies such as Agenzia Lavoro & SviluppoImpresa to connect entrepreneurs with resources, and Select FVG to attract major investments and foster collaboration between multinationals, small and medium-sized enterprises, and start-ups.
According to the ministry, the Casa del Made in Italy is designed not only to support businesses but also to monitor local markets and promote Italian products. The hub will work in coordination with other institutions to enhance regional and national economic development.
Adolfo Urso, minister of Enterprises and Made in Italy, attended the ceremony in Trieste, along with Luca Ciriani, minister for Relations with Parliament, and Fabio Scoccimarro, regional councillor for environmental protection.
