Applications open through Sept. 28 as Job Days expand to both Tolmezzo and Piancavallo for the 2026–27 winter season.
Friuli Venezia Giulia is expanding its annual winter tourism recruitment initiative, offering 180 seasonal positions across the region’s mountain hospitality sector as employers prepare for the 2026–27 winter season.
For the first time, the Job Days – Winter Edition will be held in both Tolmezzo and Piancavallo, connecting businesses from the Udine and Pordenone mountain areas with job seekers through face-to-face interviews. The initiative is organized by the Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia in partnership with Confcommercio Udine and Confcommercio Pordenone, with the patronage of the municipalities of Tolmezzo and Aviano.
The recruiting events will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 29, at the Luigi Candoni Municipal Theater in Tolmezzo, and Wednesday, Sept. 30, at the Hotel 1301 Inn in Piancavallo. Both events begin at 9:30 a.m.
Regional Labor Councilor Alessia Rosolen said the program is designed to transform businesses’ staffing needs into concrete employment opportunities by allowing candidates to meet employers directly, present their skills and complete interviews on site.
The available positions span six main sectors: reception and front office, restaurant and bar service, kitchen staff, housekeeping, maintenance, and wellness services. Roles include receptionists, waiters, bartenders, cooks, kitchen assistants, dishwashers, housekeepers and maintenance personnel.
Participation is free of charge, but registration is required by Monday, Sept. 28, 2026. Candidates may choose to attend one or both recruiting days. After registering, the Regional Employment Services will contact participants by email with their interview schedule and practical information.
Confcommercio Udine said the expanded recruiting days respond to the growing demand for qualified staff in hotels, restaurants and hospitality businesses throughout Friuli Venezia Giulia’s mountain resorts, while strengthening collaboration between employers and regional employment centers.
