Starting Tuesday, December 23, 2025, and running through Sunday, January 11, 2026, the Salone degli Incanti will display works created during a recent artistic workshop inspired by J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Lord of the Rings. The exhibition coincides with the closing of the larger show, TOLKIEN. Uomo, Professore, Autore (“Tolkien: Man, Professor, Author”).

The pieces on view were produced by a group of illustrators, comic artists, and designers under the coordination of the Trieste Academy of Comics. The workshop, titled Le Terre dell’Arte: Il Signore degli Anelli (“The Lands of Art: The Lord of the Rings”), took place on November 22 and 23.

Visitors can view the illustrations in the mezzanine area of the Salone degli Incanti during the exhibition’s regular opening hours. Mario Cerne, president of the Trieste Academy of Comics, will present the event and the artworks to the public on Saturday, December 27, at 4 p.m. Admission is free.
