As anticipation builds for the Barcolana 2025 regatta, brothers Furio and Gabriele Benussi will once again sail together rather than compete against each other. The pair, among Italy’s most accomplished sailors, are part of the Fast and Furio Sailing Team aboard ARCA SGR, the same yacht that secured victory at Barcolana 56. Joining them is Furio’s daughter, Marta Benussi, continuing the family’s deep connection to the sea. Known for their skill and coordination, the Benussi family will represent Trieste’s enduring sailing tradition as they line up among hundreds of crews in the Gulf of Trieste this Sunday.
