A new regional recruitment effort is set to match job seekers with opportunities across 25 hotels, restaurants, and bars in Udine and surrounding areas. The initiative, promoted by the Friuli Venezia Giulia Region in partnership with Confcommercio Udine, aims to fill 100 open positions in the local hospitality industry.
“This continues a fruitful path of collaboration between the public and private sectors,” said Alessia Rosolen, the Regional Councillor for Labor. “Through the coordination of the regional administration, we identify the needs of businesses and organize them in a structured way to facilitate the meeting between job seekers and employers.”

Positions are available across several departments:
- Front Desk and Guest Services: receptionists, front office staff, marketing assistants
- Restaurant and Bar: dining room managers, maîtres d’hôtel, waiters, assistant waiters, bartenders, counter staff
- Kitchen: chefs, assistant chefs, kitchen staff, dishwashers
- Cleaning and Maintenance: cleaning staff, maintenance workers
Applicants who meet the requirements will be shortlisted through a preselection process. Those selected will be notified by email between October 23 and 29 and invited to attend interviews scheduled for Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Palazzo Belgrado in Udine.
The Recruiting Day is part of a broader regional effort to strengthen the local labor market, connect employers with qualified workers, and support the recovery of Friuli Venezia Giulia’s hospitality and tourism sectors.
