talk about the huge Gorizia Food and Wine Fest, which is the biggest event of its kind in the Northeast. It’s expected to attract over 600,000 visitors this year, topping last year’s numbers. The event is very complex to organize, with the city planning a year in advance. This year, the fest has a cross-border character, uniting Gorizia and the surrounding region through culture, art, music, and of course, food and wine. As a Gorizia native, the organizer expresses how demanding it’s been to put together, but is now rewarded by seeing all the people and great weather.
