The Civil Protection Department of the Friuli Venezia Giulia region has issued a yellow-level weather alert for Saturday, August 2, warning of unstable weather conditions across the region throughout the day.
According to the regional meteorological service, ARPA FVG, the forecast calls for alternating periods of heavy rainfall and thunderstorms interspersed with brief spells of clearer skies. Some storms may be severe, with locally intense precipitation expected in certain areas.

On Sunday, August 3, conditions are predicted to remain variable. A moderate northeasterly wind is forecast along the Adriatic coast. While the morning may see drier spells, scattered showers are expected in mountainous areas, with the possibility of thunderstorms developing in parts of the plains and coastal regions during the afternoon.
Improvement is anticipated early next week. Monday, August 4, will likely see variable cloud cover, primarily due to high-altitude clouds. By Tuesday, August 5, skies are expected to clear further, with mostly sunny weather forecast across the region.
