The JM Jazz World Orchestra, widely regarded as the leading international youth jazz ensemble, is set to perform in Piazza Verdi on Friday, July 25 at 9 p.m. The concert, part of the 19th edition of the TriesteLovesJazz International Festival, is free and open to the public.
Comprising approximately 20 young professional musicians selected through a highly competitive audition process, the orchestra draws its talent from more than 15 countries. The ensemble is a flagship program of JM International, the world’s oldest nonprofit organization dedicated to youth music. Founded in 1945 and based in Brussels, JM International collaborates annually with acclaimed conductors, composers, and musicians from across the globe.
The Trieste concert is presented by the Municipality of Trieste as part of its TriesteEstate summer cultural program and organized by Casa della Musica/Scuola di Musica 55, in partnership with the More Than Jazz initiative. The event is one of several tour stops for the orchestra, which regularly performs at leading European venues and jazz festivals.
