Preparations are in full swing this week for Tramonti a Nord Est, a highly anticipated music and cultural event that will bring the tall ship Palinuro to the Gulf of Trieste and feature performances by Italian artists Tananai, Gemitaiz, and Mace.

The Palinuro, a training vessel of the Italian Navy, arrived in the bay on Tuesday and is scheduled to dock today. The ship, captured in a striking image by photographer Andrea Lasorte sailing alongside the futuristic yacht A and trailed by speedboats, will serve as the floating stage for Friday evening’s concert.

Organizers have confirmed a surprise appearance by pop star Elisa, adding to the growing excitement surrounding the event, which will unfold in front of Trieste’s iconic Piazza dell’Unità.
