On the first official weekend of summer, as temperatures climbed and the Adriatic shimmered under a cloudless sky, the city of Trieste stirred to life. This weekend, locals and tourists alike poured into the sun-drenched piazzas and narrow cobblestone streets, soaking in the season’s arrival in the capital of Friuli Venezia Giulia.
From bustling cafés along the Canale Grande to the gentle buzz of conversation echoing through Piazza Unità d’Italia, the city exuded a sense of leisure and anticipation. Summer had finally arrived — and with it, a renewed rhythm of coastal life.
