The city of Muggia marked Italy’s Festa della Repubblica on Monday with a civic ceremony recognizing its newest adult citizens. In a tradition observed annually, local officials presented the Italian Constitution, along with the regional and municipal statutes, to residents who recently turned 18.

The event, held in the town’s central square, opened with remarks by Mayor Paolo Polidori, who underscored the significance of civic engagement and the responsibilities of citizenship.

Following the ceremony, the public was invited to attend a performance by the Città di Muggia Wind Orchestra, conducted by Giacomo Sfetez. The concert, offered free of charge, included a selection of pieces honoring the national holiday and was warmly received by attendees.
