The Municipality of Trieste has renewed its commitment to supporting women through free multidisciplinary information desks, a program that has been in place since 2019. The initiative, part of the city’s broader efforts to promote social inclusion and equal opportunities, provides guidance on legal matters, healthcare, employment, education, and digital skills.

Following a public call for proposals in November 2024, the Casa Internazionale delle Donne was the sole organization to submit a plan to expand the program. As a result, it will continue to oversee and enhance the services available.

A key addition to the 2025-2027 cycle is a data-driven approach, with periodic analyses of service usage to identify the most pressing concerns among users. Based on these findings, four public discussions will be held annually to address emerging needs in the community.

The program will be staffed by qualified professionals in each field, ensuring accessible and high-quality support for women across the region.
