The city of Trieste will become the stage for a 10-day celebration of classical and contemporary music when the Festival di Trieste – Il Faro della Musica 2026 returns from September 14 to 24.

Organized by the Società dei Concerti Trieste in partnership with the Municipality of Trieste, the festival will bring together internationally renowned performers for concerts and cultural events held in some of the city’s most distinctive theaters, historic buildings and public spaces.

The program is presented in collaboration with the Fondazione Teatro Lirico Giuseppe Verdi, with participation from the Giuseppe Tartini Conservatory, Scuola di Musica 55 – Casa della Musica, Teatro Rossetti and Teatro Miela.

Over the course of 10 days, audiences will be able to attend performances and musical itineraries designed to highlight Trieste’s identity as a historic crossroads of cultures, with venues across the city serving as settings for a diverse lineup of artistic events.

The full festival program and featured international artists will be announced by the organizers.
