The regional government of Friuli Venezia Giulia has allocated renewed funding for the Centri di Riferimento Informativo per la Disabilità (Disability Information Centers) under the 2026 Stability Law, the regional administration announced on February 20.

The initiative aims to support centres that provide consultation, orientation, and information services for people with disabilities.

An amendment to the Stability Law, signed by Regional Councillor Carlo Grilli with the support of colleagues in the Fedriga Presidente group, secures the funding.

The renewal specifically targets services related to assistive devices and technologies that promote users’ autonomy, following requests from both service users and operators for continued support for these centres.

Regional health authorities described disability as a long-term health condition requiring sustained support structures throughout an individual’s life. Assessments cited in the press release emphasized continuity of care and the importance of informational support as part of regional health and social policy.

Officials have not yet released implementation timelines or eligibility criteria for service providers
