The city has announced a series of traffic and parking restrictions around Piazzale delle Puglie to accommodate the “Christmas Themed Amusement Park – 2025/26 Edition,” which will take place from December 23, 2025, to January 11, 2026.
According to Ordinance No. 1212-25, the measures are intended to ensure the safe setup and operation of the seasonal fair, including designated space for ride operators’ mobile homes. The restrictions will affect both parking and vehicle access in the areas surrounding the square.
Beginning December 15, 2025, and extending through January 14, 2026, parking and stopping will be prohibited around the entire piazzale, specifically in the area between Via Carnaro and the Giorgio Ferrini Stadium. The ban will remain in effect 24 hours a day or until no longer required.
A second set of parking restrictions will take effect from December 17, 2025, through January 14, 2026, covering the parking area between the intersection of Via Federico Seismit Doda and Via Bartolomeo D’Alviano and the main roadway crossing Piazzale delle Puglie.
During the same periods, vehicle access will also be suspended in the corresponding areas, effectively closing the entire piazzale to traffic to allow for installation, operation and dismantling of the amusement park.
Authorities noted that additional adjustments or further measures related to safety or logistical needs may be implemented by law enforcement or local police present at the site.
