The traveling music project Armoniosi Loci will close its summer tour on Saturday, September 20, with a day devoted entirely to the piano in the heart of Trieste. The concerts will take place inside Musicae, a striking bio-design arena shaped like a grand piano and constructed entirely from regional wood, which has stood in Piazza Verdi since early September.

The program opens at 11 a.m. with a recital by Filippo Alberto Rosso, a 17-year-old pianist from Pordenone. Already a prizewinner at national and international competitions, Rosso will perform works by Debussy, Chopin and Liszt.

At 6 p.m., Croatian pianist Lara Makovac, born in 2003, will take the stage with a program ranging from Chopin to Ravel and Prokofiev, highlighting her growing reputation as an interpreter of both Romantic and early 20th-century repertoire.

The festival concludes at 8:45 p.m. with Serbian pianist Luka Petrović, trained in Novi Sad and Trieste. His recital will feature Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt and Russian Romantic composers, offering what organizers describe as a mix of virtuosity and expressive depth.

The events, directed by Davide Fregona and open to the public free of charge, mark the final chapter of Armoniosi Loci’sregional journey, which has combined craftsmanship, design and music across Friuli Venezia Giulia throughout the summer.
