In anticipation of the 2025 UEFA Super Cup match on Wednesday, August 13, at Udine’s Stadio Friuli, Trenitalia’s regional service, in coordination with the Autonomous Region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, will operate four additional late-night trains to accommodate spectators traveling after the game.

The special services, running during the night of August 13–14, include:

  • Train 16213: Udine (12:15 a.m.) – Venice Santa Lucia (2:29 a.m.)
  • Train 3413: Udine (12:30 a.m.) – Monfalcone (1:17 a.m.)
  • Train 17127: Udine (12:45 a.m.) – Venice Santa Lucia (2:59 a.m.)
  • Train 3415: Udine (1:00 a.m.) – Monfalcone (1:47 a.m.)

A connecting bus service operated by APT Gorizia will continue from Monfalcone to Trieste Centrale.

The additional trains will provide about 2,400 extra seats beyond the regular schedule, offering an option for fans who prefer to leave private vehicles at home. Shuttle buses will link the stadium directly to Udine’s railway station.

Tickets are required for boarding and are available in advance through Trenitalia’s website and app, station ticket offices and self-service machines, as well as through 4,700 authorized retailers in the Lottomatica, Sisal and SIR (tobacconist) networks.

The UEFA Super Cup, an annual fixture between the winners of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Europa League, is expected to draw thousands of fans from across Italy and abroad to Friuli Venezia Giulia’s capital of football for the summer spectacle.
