A difficult start to the week for commuters in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Train services were disrupted on Monday due to storm damage from overnight lightning, causing delays of up to 90 minutes and several cancellations. Bus replacements were provided, as travel to and from Trieste remained complicated. And more disruptions are expected, with a rail workers’ strike underway from Monday night through Tuesday at 6 p.m.
