Around 500 people gathered in the center of Trieste on Tuesday evening for a peaceful demonstration calling for an immediate cease-fire in Gaza and across the Middle East.

The rally, which began in Piazza Oberdan and wound through the city to Piazza Verdi, was organized by a coalition of civil society figures, including members of the Jewish community, journalists, and cultural leaders. The event carried no political symbols and featured only one banner: peace.
