President of Friuli Venezia Giulia region, Massimiliano Fedriga, said restrictions such as face coverings outside will be lifted soon.
President Fedriga explained that the end of the state of the emergency “is a good sign for our country”, even though “we will need to maintain other rules like social distancing for some time until we return to normality.”
Fedriga told RaiNews that “in two weeks time the masks outside will become optional” adding that “we must not let our guard down, and keep using common sense while we’re still in the midst of pandemic.”
