City officials in Trieste announced that several public gardens will be closed on Wednesday due to adverse weather conditions expected across the area.

According to the municipality, all fenced public gardens listed by the city will remain closed for the day as a precaution. These include the de Tommasini garden on Via Giulia, the Falcone and Borsellino garden in Altura, Basevi garden, and the Fra M.V. Antollovich garden on Via Carpineto.

Other closures affect the Wanda and Marion Wulz garden on Via Catullo, the Fedora Barbieri garden on Via Mascagni, and green areas on Via San Michele and Campagna Prandi. The gardens at Villa Cosulich on Strada del Friuli and Villa Engelmann on Via Chiadino will also be closed, along with Parco Bazzoni on Via Navali, the skate park on Via Petitti di Roreto, and gardens in Piazza Hortis and Vicolo dell’Edera.

The Maddalena garden, located between Via Molino a Vento and Via Costalunga, will also be shut. Villa Revoltella will be closed to visitors, although access to the church on the grounds will remain available through the Curia.

An exception will be the garden of Villa Sartorio on Via dei Modiano, which will remain open during regular hours solely to allow access for work activities within the buildings.

Officials said they will continue to monitor weather conditions and have not specified when the gardens will reopen.
