Interview: Fabio Scoccimarro, Regional Councilor for Environment, Energy, and Sustainable Development
The regional government of Friuli Venezia Giulia has announced the launch of a new “Sportello Ambiente ed Energia” service to assist residents and businesses with regional environmental and energy programs.
The service will open on 2 March at the regional office on Via Carducci in Trieste, offering both in-person and remote support. It will provide information on regional funding opportunities, permits, and procedural requirements.
Fabio Scoccimarro, Regional Councillor for Environment, Energy, and Sustainable Development, said the initiative is intended to serve as a first point of contact, directing users to the appropriate technical offices and helping reduce delays in administrative processes.
The desk aims to streamline access to more than 40 active regional programs covering energy efficiency, sustainable events, infrastructure connections, and other environmental measures.
The office will be open for in-person meetings from Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 2:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Alternatively, staff can be contacted by telephone at 040 3774130 or by email at sportelloambiente@regione.fvg.it starting 2 March.
