We wandered downtown asking residents: What’s the best way to beat the winter Monday blues? At Piazza Unità d’Italia, a retiree replied, “A walk by the sea clears the mind.” A barista at Caffè Tommaseo said, “Coffee and laughter with friends.” From historic cafés to bustling bookstores, answers varied but shared one theme: small joys and community warmth can lift any winter day.
