On Saturday, October 25, at 4:30 p.m., the Museo LETS in Trieste will host Famelico, an artistic and performative workshop inviting participants to explore the theme of “hunger” in its many emotional and symbolic dimensions. The event, open to anyone over the age of 13, will take place in the museum’s Spazio Forum in Piazza Hortis.
Famelico is the second in a series of workshops accompanying the exhibition Strumenti per non scolorire (“Tools Not to Fade”), organized by the cultural association Charta Sporca in collaboration with the group Babau. Both initiatives are part of La Scuola del Sospetto 2025, a regional project supported by Friuli Venezia Giulia’s government.
Through a combination of texts, photographs, and guided meditative moments, participants will be encouraged to reflect on what “hunger” represents—whether as a physical sensation, a metaphor for desire, or a creative drive. Each person will then translate those reflections into a personal artistic work, regardless of prior experience in art or artistic techniques.
The workshop’s intent is to foster self-expression and shared creativity, turning introspection into collective exploration.
