Families across Friuli Venezia Giulia have until 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20, to apply for regional financial aid intended to ease the cost of education. The program, managed by the regional agency Ardis, provides support for school enrollment fees, attendance at accredited private schools and accommodation in student boarding facilities. The application period opened earlier than in previous years, beginning on Oct. 6.
At the core of the initiative is Dote Scuola, a regional grant available to families with children enrolled in state or accredited private middle and high schools. Applicants may also submit a request for the national scholarship offered by the Italian government.
Additional funding is available to offset enrollment and attendance costs for students in private primary and secondary schools. Families with children who reside in recognized boarding facilities while attending state or accredited private high schools in the region may also apply for accommodation support.
To be eligible, families must reside in Friuli Venezia Giulia and have an ISEE income indicator of €35,000 or less. Certain exemptions apply, including for widowed parents and mothers participating in personalized protection programs designed to help them leave situations of violence. Students with certified disabilities may also receive an exemption when applying for Dote Scuola.
Applications must be submitted exclusively online through the Ardis website. Families seeking assistance can contact the agency by phone at 0432 245772 or 040 3595205, or via email at info.udine@ardis.fvg.it or info.trieste@ardis.fvg.it.
