The Arcobaleno Orchestra, in association with the “House of Cinema of Trieste” proposes an evening dedicated to women.

This event wants to raise awareness of the violence against women and hopes to be received like the first edition, in 2022, that achieved a “sold out” in Porto Vecchio. The entrance is free, as part of an initiative of the FVG region and the brand “Io sono Friuli Venezia Giulia”.

Chiara Gelmini and Leonardo Zannier will host the journey, full of surprising performances mostly played by female artists, such as the voices of Maddalena Murano and Daniele Tripaldi.  Carmen Anastasio and Carolina Pérez will also join the stage with “Warsaw Concert” and “Rhapsody in Blue”, interpreted in piano.

The Orchestra celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2022, a big achievement in the music world, encouraging young students to pursue music in an academic and professional level.

For several years it has become a participant of local, national, and international scenes. The Orchestra has held concerts in Budapest, Austria, Croatia, Poland, and Czech Republic.

On June 3rd it participated in the “Open Day – Open Bay”, organized by the DIS-Equality Association at Sistiana Bay.

From 15 to 18 June the Orchestra joined the “Hudba Bez Hranic” Festival in Czech Republic

On 28 June the Theater Stabile Sloveno in Trieste featured a spectacle with the dancers of the Alfa Dance Trieste Association, in the show “Dancing with the Rainbow Second 3rd Edition”.

Lately the Arcobaleno Orchestra organized two concerts at Sala Rovis. On March 4th the concert “Trieste and its music” with the collaboration of  La Barcaccia company. The second one was the“Spring Concert”, on May 13th.

The next thing on the calendar is Sunday 10 September at 20:30, at the public garden Muzio de Tomasini. To find more information about the concert “Woman” you can check the website https://www.orchestra-arcobaleno.it
